The family of a 28-year-old man who grew up attending school in Westchester before moving down south is remembering him for his vibrant energy after his unexpected death.
Conway, South Carolina resident Nicholas Thomas Hold, 28, who grew up going to schools in Yonkers, died unexpectedly on Sunday, Sept. 21, according to his obituary.
Born on Staten Island in 1997, Hold grew up in Yonkers and attended Sacred Heart Grade School and High School, where he formed lifelong friendships, according to his family.

Brad Everett Young, an actor, celebrity photographer, and advocate for arts education, was killed in a car crash in Los Angeles. He was 46.
The crash happened late Sunday, Sept. 14, when a wrong-way driver hit Young’s car on the 134 Freeway. He had just seen a movie and was driving alone, his publicist told The Hollywood Reporter. Young died at the scene. The other driver survived and was hospitalized, the outlet reported.

A Hudson Valley community is grieving the loss of a beloved husband, father, and kitchen worker who died after a tragic workplace accident earlier this month.
Salomon “Salo” Pop Chub, of Saugerties, died Monday, Sept. 15, after spending a week in critical condition following an accident at a meat processing facility. He lost a significant amount of blood and went into cardiac arrest multiple times, according to a GoFundMe campaign.

Ricky Hatton, the fan-favorite boxing champion and International Boxing Hall of Famer, has died at 46.
Authorities in Greater Manchester, England said that Hatton’s body was found at his home on Sunday, Sept. 14, and that they are not treating the death as suspicious.
