No Joke: Bill Maher, Once Sued by Trump, To Meet President At White House Thanks To Kid Rock
Comedian and political commentator Bill Maher, a longtime critic of Donald Trump and once sued by him, says he’s heading to the White House for a meeting with the president, arranged by none other than Kid Rock.
Maher made the announcement on his “Club Random” podcast, released Sunday, March 23, during a conversation with fellow comedian and podcaster Andrew Schulz.
“Kid Rock was here a couple of weeks ago, and he said, ‘I want you to meet Trump.’ He said, ‘I’m gonna take you to the White House,’” Maher recalled, via Yahoo News. “So, now we’re gonna do that.”

As "Saturday Night Live" celebrates its 50th anniversary, former cast member Joe Piscopo, a North Jersey native, is ready to tell his story.
Piscopo, who was born in Passaic and grew up in North Caldwell, is signing copies of his new book, "Average Joe: The Memoirs of a Blue-Collar Entertainer" at Bookends in Ridgewood on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 6 p.m.
In the book, Piscopo talks about getting started in the New York standup scene where he befriended Jerry Seinfeld, Larry David and Gilbert Gottfried, according to a synopsis.
